Norwegian today announced new routes between Italy and the US! The airline is launching a series of direct scheduled flights from New York (Newark), Los Angeles and San Francisco (Oakland) to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport during the upcoming autumn season! What is more, the carrier will fly from Providence/Boston to Guadeloupe and Martinique.

Norwegian continues its expansion, by adding Rome to growing list of long-haul, low-cost destinations. Business and leisure travellers will be able to fly non-stop between the three US cities and the Italian capital. The new routes to the Eternal City will be serviced by 787 Dreamliner, which features an Economy Class and a Premium Class.

The low cost carrier is to begin flying to newly announced destination starting from November 2017. Tickets are already available. Introductory prices for the new routes to Rome start at just $169/€152 one way!

The carrier also announced plans to expand its service to the French Caribbean, launching non-stop service from Providence/Boston to Guadeloupe and Martinique in October 2017. Norwegian is also looking at Milan (MXP) as a potential new destination.

Rome is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, and a favorite among Americans, so it was an obvious choice for us as we continue to expand our transatlantic presence, said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian Chief Commercial Officer
