New WOW Air routes from California to Iceland: flights from San Francisco or Los Angeles from $99 one way!
WOW Air launching service between California and Iceland
From June 2016 the transatlantic airline based in Iceland is launching service between the US West Coast and Iceland! The low cost carrier is to begin flying from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Reykjavik. The super cheap fares in June are starting from only $99 one way, return tickets are more expensive.
Fly to Iceland in spring or summer and explore this unique island! With its picturesque waterfalls and unique landscape Iceland is a perfect destination for all travelers!
Launched in November 2011, WOW air now connects twenty destinations across the US and Europe with the Icelandic capital. The new routes will be serviced by three new Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the first wide-body planes in the WOW air fleet, which will each carry 340 passengers in a single-class configuration. The routes will connect with other WOW air destinations in Europe – like daily flights betweeen Keflavik and London Gatwick, allowing to travel to the UK from Los Angeles four times per week and San Francisco five times a week, all year round. Tickets are already on sale.
