Is that good solution to book tickets before you get visa? I’m from Poland so it’s a pinch of risk.

    Hello.
What is the fare’s rules? I see Gothenburg-New York- Chicago-Berlin can be replicated with the dates you provided. However, I wanted to use Gothenburg to New York in January and then Chicago to Berlin in May.

The PRG-JFK//ORD-TXL itinerary is actually double open-jawed. This means one has to pay for a separate JFK-ORD one way ticket and TXL-PRG one way ticket. This would add an extra $300-400. Then it may not be such a great deal. If you’re planning to go from New York to Florida, Texas, for example and then somehow end up in Chicago for your flight back to Europe, it should be OK. What’s the cheapest way to get back to Prague from Berlin?

    JFK-ORD: why not by Megabus?
The route from Prague to Berlin can be albo on bus via Wrocław. PolskiBus tickets should cost around 10-20 USD.

Megabus? It’s a 17-hour journey. Most Americans don’t go by bus when the distance is this huge.

I can’t get the direct BA6082 GOT-HEL, it always comes up as 2 or even 3 flights i.e. GOT (- TXL) – LHR – HEL. Am I missing something?

Try entering GOT – JFK instead of GOT – HEL and choose the one with stopover in HEL from the list of flights, it might help.
