In Krakow you should visit the Wawel Castle, a former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz and climb the tower of St. Mary's Basilica. Go to the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and explore the underground museum situated below the Main Square - on the area of over 6000 square metres you'll find the remains of burned settlements from the XIth century. Gdansk also has its charm with the seaside promenade, beaches, the Old Town and St. Mary's Church - one of the three largest brick churches in the world.
Warsaw is famous for the Old Town - a reconstruction masterpiece - 85% of which was completely destroyed and rebuilt after WWII. You can go to Royal Łazienki for a free outdoor Chopin Concert. The live piano recitals at the foot of the Monument to Chopin are held in summer every Sunday at 12.00 and 16.00. Enjoy the trendy nighclubs and nice beaches on the Vistula River. Poznan and Wroclaw both are full of history and have very nice Old Towns and Market Squares. In Lodz, located right in the centre of Poland, you can visit many exciting venues in former factories, admire cool street art and splendid Art Nouveau architecture in Piotrkowska - one of the longest commercial streets in Europe.
