Parque Natural de Corralejo is the best place to enjoy the desert beauty of Fuerteventura. This coastal zone, all covered with fine white sand, is located in the north-east of the island. You’ll have to park your car and explore the nature reserve on foot, so be sure to take plenty of water, sunscreen and hat.
In the area of 2,600 ha you’ll find a large expanse of sand dunes formed by nature. In the north of the park there is the biggest dune in the Canary Islands.
