Best beaches in Fuerteventura
In the north you should definitely visit the magnificent beach of El Cotillo. Then head to the Grandes Playas de Corralejo - 9 kilometres of divine beaches covered by white sand formed from the erosion of sea shells.
In the south of the island you should choose a 12-kilometre Playa de Cofete - one of the wildest beaches in the Canaries. Playa de Sotavento, with its huge lagoons at low tide, is the islands best known beach in the world. You can also head to the golden-sand Playa del Matorral (Morro Jable), bordered by an enormous avenue with shops and restaurants.
It’s always a good idea to take a break on beautiful Canary Islands! Discover all the best spots of the two major islands on Destination Fly4free: Gran Canaria and Tenerife!
