Gozo and Comino
The nation of Malta is an archipelago of 21 islands, the second largest being Gozo, the mythological isle of the nymph Calypso. The island is home to the Citadel, a historic fortified city. Inside the walls you’ll find the Old Prison from the mid-16th century. Visit the Folklore Museum, the Archaeology Museum and the Natural Science Museum. You can also discover the aqueduct near Victoria and salt evaporation ponds off the coast of Gozo.
Comino is another island that make up the archipelago of Malta. It's renowned for the famous Blue Lagoon where you can swim in the tranquil water with a beautiful azure and light green colour. This stunning inlet with white sand beaches is accessed by boat trip. It's a great spot for snorkelling due to the clarity of the water as well as the presence of several caves.
