AirAsia is offering flexibility! Flight dates change within 180 days free of charge

Unfortunately, the latest travel restrictions have affected most tourists. Therefore, in order not to lose customer loyalty and revenues, carriers allow passengers to cancel or postpone their trips.

AirAsia, the most famous low-cost airline in Asia, introduced flexible conditions for making changes in tickets reservations, the airline president Bo Lingam announced in his letter to customers.

We understand the urgency of customer queries relating to the current health situation and any changes to their travel plans. AirAsia has made it a priority to minimise the impact on our guests and to address their concerns, – says the president.

Passengers affected by air travel restrictions imposed in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic will be able to reschedule their flights to another date within 180 days (no flight change fee applies).

Besides AirAsia is offering affected guests options to convert flight bookings into Credit Accounts to be used to book a new flight within 365 days (normally, this refund can only be used for 90 days).

You can find more details about flight changes or cancellations on the special Covid-19 Guide page on the airline’s website. In addition the airline has prepared a list of countries with flights restrictions that may affect travel with AirAsia.
