Wreck diving
Deep in the heart of the Indian Ocean lays a fascinating underwater world. Many spectacular wrecks lie on the ocean floor of this tropical diving paradise. Divers can witness how marine ecosystems takeover the sunken rusty vessels. The warm, clear, calm waters of the Maldives offer a fantastic opportunity to observe as coral reefs grow over the ghostly shipwrecks.
You can dive in the underwater wrecks like Maldives Victory (North Malé Atoll), Kuda Giri (South Malé Atoll), Khuda Maa, Halaveli and Fesdu Wreck (Ari Atoll), British Loyalty (Addu Atoll), Utheemu or Liffey (Dhaalu Atoll). Kuda Giri is a good wreck for beginners or for night dive. Wreck has a diving depth from 20 to 40 m and is suitable for all divers. The average visibility is 10-20 meters and access to the dive site is by boat.
