Gran Canaria lives up to its cliché as a continent in miniature, with a dramatic variation of terrain, ranging from the green and leafy north to the mountainous interior and desert south. In Gran Canaria you can stay at the well-rated Monte Feliz with reasonable rates and good reviews. This property is just 300 m from the beach and a watersports center. It is set on a hill above Feliz Bay, in southern Gran Canaria. There are attractive gardens and views of the sea and mountains.
In Mallorca we recommend staying at Petit Hotel Hostatgeria Sant Salvador with very good reviews. The rooms and apartments are comfortable and tranquil and full of history. They have all been decorated in keeping with the history of the building and include arched, vault style ceilings and warm colours. Rooms are orientated towards the sea and mountains and within view are Isla Cabrera National Park and the “serra de llevants” valleys.
