This architectural marvel, located in the Rhodope Mountains (10 km from Ardino) was rebuilt in 1515-18 on the site of the old Roman bridge. According to medieval legends, the devil worked with builders of the 56-metre-long construction, considered a significant architectural achievement at the end of the Middle Ages.
