Tel Aviv, also called ‘ The White City’ is a modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan destination which can offer a different picture of Mediterranean. Welcome to a sun-bronzed strip of coastline where coffee and culinary innovation are the local obsessions, where residents speak every language under the sun, and where life is lived outdoors and to the fullest!
The numerous Beit Guvrin Caves were dug out over hundreds years from the soft chalk earth of the Judean Lowlands. Archaeologists have discovered the network of underground tunnels beneath an area that was once known as the cities of Maresha and Beit Guvrin. The thousands of caves have been created for a number of different reasons, ranging from hideouts, defences, chalk mines to burial sites.
You can also admire the bright blue waters of the Rosh HaNikra Grottoes. These natural caves, located on the coast near the border to Lebanon, once were only available to divers but now anyone can reach the grottoes via the world's steepest cable car.
