Santiago is home to nice museums and galleries, like the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts and La Chascona Casa Museo. Other must-sees are the excellent Museum of pre-Columbian Art (Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino), featuring collections relating to the country's native people, and the Museum of Memory and Human Rights, commemorating those who suffered under the Pinochet regime.
