Sentosa Island
If you want to relax in front of the sea, spend a day on the tropical beaches of Sentosa Island. It served as a fortress in the 19th century and became a military base after the World War II. This little corner of paradise is located just 15 minutes away from the city centre. The cable car trip from the mainland to the island is an adventure in itself.
Sentosa’s 3.2-kilometre stretch of sand is divided into Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach, and Tanjong Beach. Walk the suspension bridge linking Palawan Beach to the southernmost point of continental Asia. Siloso Beach offers coolest bars and restaurants.
