The Northeast region is one of the liveliest in Brazil. It’s a land of sunny beaches, colonial towns, unspoiled nature, and friendly people.
The Northeast of Brazil has perhaps the most stunning coastline in South America. In Genipabu (Jenipabu) Beach you can enjoy "esquibunda", a sport in which a person slides the dunes with a wooden board. Check out the fabulous seven beaches of Morro de São Paulo - a small town located on the northern tip of the island of Tinharé. These epic beaches are covered by the finest golden sand and the coastal water is azure and shallow. What is more, the summer season here never ends and the seawater temperature is around 25 – 28°C throughout the year.
Recife's long stretch of sand, known as Praia Boa Viagem, is always full of locals and visitors. The beach village of Canoa Quebrada is a well-known destination for outdoor activities. It's is considered one of the kitesurf capitals in the world. Enjoy the sandy dunes, nearly 5 km wide at some places. The best way to explore the area is by buggy. Porto de Galinhas attracts visitors with its beaches, shallow turquoise waters, and year-round great weather with temperatures between 27°C in July and 30°C in January.
