Great opportunity to discover Tanzania! Fly from Oslo, Norway to Dar es Salaam from only €252!
Off the shores of Zanzibar there are a variety of little islands offering a secluded and remote beach experience. Visit the Pemba Islands or one of many small, nearly deserted islets of the Zanzibar Archipelago (e.g. Tumbatu, Chapwani or Bawe). Chumbe Island Coral Park includes a fully protected coral reef sanctuary and forest reserve that protects rare wildlife. The coral reefs of Mnemba Island and its marine reserve atoll are truly breathtaking.
Sail to the Prison Island (Changuu) to see the old cells providing shelter to the giant tortoises. The island served as a prison for rebellious slaves in 1860s and then functioned as a quarantine station for yellow fever cases. You can also visit one of the sandbank isles, like Pange or Nyange.
