Croatia will amaze you with its historic cities, delicious Mediterranean food and rich cultural legacy. Its rocky shore with more than a thousand islands and the stunning nature make this country one of the most popular destinations in Europe!

How to get there:
Take a look at the flight deals to Croatia:

Where to stay:
In Hvar we recommend you to book 3* B&B Dela. This guesthouse, located within a 10-minute drive of Hvar Fortress, has very good reviews, the seasonal outdoor pool and the bar/lounge. All rooms offer flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and free WiFi.

In Korčula, we encourage you to stay at well-reviewed 3* Accommodation Drasko. This top rated guesthouse is just 2-minute walk from the beach. The property offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or access to a shared terrace with views of the sea and the Old Town of Korčula. Banje Beach and many restaurants and bars can be found just 200 m away.

What to do:
There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities, from white water rafting and island hopping to rock climbing. Croatia’s blissful Adriatic islands are a haven for yachters and those wanting to simply relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Sailing between the beautiful Croatian islands is probably the best way to travel. The most popular place to dock is Hvar.

For the best scuba diving in Croatia head to the Kornati National Park. Explore it by private sailing boat to enjoy its 80 scattered islets. You can also sail to Brijuni National Park, another archipelago of pine-scented islets.

Popular with nature lovers, the Mljet national park offers numerous outdoor attractions. Numerous paths run through the dense pine forest and a 9-kilometre trail around the lakes is ideal for hiking or mountain biking. You can hire a kayak or swim in the lakes, discover the Odysseus’s cave or go wreck diving off the coast.

Countless pebble beaches in Croatia are perfect for diving, sea kayaking and water skiing. You can catch some waves in the windsurfing hotspot of Viganj. Croatia’s most scenic ferry ride is the nine-hour cruise between Split and Dubrovnik. Half way between Dubrovnik and Split, Makarska makes a popular stop on cruises around the Dalmatian coast.

Korčula Island is renowned as one of Croatia’s top wine tasting regions. Explore the traditional wineries of the Pelješac peninsula, producing praised varieties like Dingac and Postup.

Along the coast, centuries-old harbour towns are packed with Venetian-era stone buildings. Many of Croatia’s coastal cities have a fascinating history. Visit Gornji Grad (Upper Town), the medieval core of Zagreb or admire the amphitheatre in Pula, the sixth largest surviving Roman arena and one of the best preserved Roman monuments in Croatia.

Rovinj, situated on the west coast of Istria Peninsula, is one of the most picturesque towns in the Mediterranean. You can also choose to visit Zadar, the car-free old town built on a small peninsula. While in Zadar, don’t miss out the Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje), a musical instrument played by the sea.

There are few unique museums worth checking out in Croatia. While in Split, head to the Froggyland to see a collection of 507 stuffed frogs doing people things. Zagreb’s Museum of Broken Relationships offers a very interesting exhibit including personal objects left over from former lovers. You can also visit Nikola Tesla’s Birthplace Museum in Smiljan.

Visit Ston and its smaller neighbour, Mali Ston (Little Ston). Both towns are surrounded by a 5-kilometre defensive wall. The Walls of Ston is the longest fortress system anywhere in Europe (twice as long as the one in Dubrovnik). It features forty stunning defensive towers and a massive hillside fortress.

Experience local nightlife and see a traditional moreška sword dance, which is staged for tourists on summer evenings.

Jablanac Shipwreck is a place for everyone looking for extraordinary attractions. The remains of a sunken WW II military ship are visible through clear water in Zavratnica bay.
