Sports enthusiasts will enjoy sailing on Issyk-Kul Lake. Mountain sea breezes, low humidity, clean air, abundant solar heat, water infused with therapeutic minerals, hot springs and mud treatments will revive the health and spirits of all visitors. What is more, this interesting country represents a great destination for ethnographic tours.

The rugged terrain of Kyrgyzstan has always attracted sports enthusiasts from around the world. Chains of mountains stretching across the country beckon mountain climbers looking to conquer the snow-capped summits. Expert mountaineers are drawn by the prospect of scaling Kyrgyzstan’s four peaks over 7,000 meters. For skiers, there are 13 resorts, several of which can accommodate overnight stays. Mountain peaks are also the source of the raging rapids that entice fans of rafting and kayaking. The Chu River cuts through the Gorge Boom, the national arena for white water sports.

There is no absolutely safe country. I live in Hungary and I can say the same about Hungary that you said about Kyrgyzstan for example not safe, people rude and so on.

“opens its door and its heart to guests” – same like McDonald’s opens its door and its heart to guests and any taxi driver who wants your many – Kyrgyz people are very material.

I have to agree. Kyrgyzstan is not tourist friendly and not safe – a girl from our guesthouse was physical attacked by staff of the shopping mall, because she charged her mobile phone.

I spent a few years ago in 2012 3 weeks in Kyrgyzstan. Was fantastic, traveled around country but like people say here they rob your money. One english chap traveled with us and he liked as well but I can speak russian that’s the point. If you don’t know russian you are robed. They have no limitations and people from west Europe they teach them to rob money. Anyway some points like in the mountains you can not go (restricted areas-military) there is a lot of communism influences from past but I liked.
Even me they tried rob because I m foreigner and always I told them fuck you and alert that commend they changed their mind.
However when you go over there try join to someone who speaks russian.
