The high season in the Maldives starts in December and lasts through April. This is the best time to visit, with the highest chances of perfect weather. The off season months of May to August are mostly defined by the monsoons but in fact, the period from May till June can bring very high quality weather.

In Malé, we encourage you to stay at the very well reviewed 4-star Le Vieux Nice Inn. The hotel features a mineral bath, a coffee bar and 24-hour room service. Le Vieux Nice Inn provides parking and is a short car trip from Hulhule. Free breakfast is included!

You can also choose Newtown Inn from only €49 for deluxe doubleroom inclusive of breakfast. Conveniently situated, the hotel is a quick car trip from Malé International Airport and it boasts excellent reviews.

In Addu Atoll, we encourage you to stay at Charming Holiday Lodge for just €62 with very good reviews and breakfasts included!

If you prefer something more luxurious, we suggest you to stay at superb 5* Gangehi Island Resort in the North Ari Atoll from €198 with breakfast included. This top rated property provides 5-star accommodation in water bungalows. It has a fitness centre, tour desk, concierge and massage services, as well as an airport shuttle, room service and a safe. There is an on-site restaurant, bar and night club, so guests of the resort need look no further for an entertaining evening.
