Wizz Air is selling very cheap flights from Rome to Eilat (and vice versa) starting at only €20 (Wizz Air Discount Club fare) or €33 (standard fare) for a round trip.
Home to some of the world’s most famous historic tourist attractions, Israel is not only a pilgrimage destination. For travellers not seeking out religious sightseeing, there is a great variety of other things to do. This breathtaking country offers beautiful sandy beaches, fascinating history and stunning nature.
The numerous Beit Guvrin Caves were dug out over hundreds years from the soft chalk earth of the Judean Lowlands. Archaeologists have discovered the network of underground tunnels beneath an area that was once known as the cities of Maresha and Beit Guvrin. The thousands of caves have been created for a number of different reasons, ranging from hideouts, defences, chalk mines to burial sites.
You can also admire the bright blue waters of the Rosh HaNikra Grottoes. These natural caves, located on the coast near the border to Lebanon, once were only available to divers but now anyone can reach the grottoes via the world's steepest cable car.
