The seaside town of Himara is one of the best places to visit in the Albanian Riviera. Porto Palermo, Llamani and Filikuri are some of the area’s finest sandy beaches, while Drymades is one of the liveliest spots here.
When in Tirana, head south to beautiful Sarande - the amazing Albanian coastal city that has over 300 sunny days a year. This nice town is situated on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea, about 14 km (8.7 mi) east of the Greek island of Corfu. To enjoy a stunning sunset, head to Lekursi Castle. Take a boat tour to the untouched and unspoiled Ksamil Islands, accessible from the small town of Ksamil.
