Discover Caño Cristales, known as "the river that ran away from paradise". From July through November the most spectacular natural wonder in the country mesmerizes with amazing shades of red, blue, yellow, orange and green.
Located in the Macarena Mountains, the multi-coloured river is difficult to reach and was closed off to the public until the early 2000s. To enter the area you must be accompanied by a tour guide, as you need permission to get there.
