Doha Hamad International Airport named the World’s Best Airport at the Skytrax 2022 World Airport Awards!

Hamad International Airport was also considered Best Airport in the Middle East, the World’s Best Airport in the 15 to 20 million passenger category and won the award for the Cleanest Airport in the Middle East.

Tokyo Haneda managed to maintain last year’s second place and was considered the Best Airport in Asia, the Best Airport in the 20 to 30 million passenger category, World’s Best Domestic Airport, Best PRM and Accessible Facilites, World’s Cleanest Airport and Cleanest Airport in Asia.

After a number of years being considered the World’s best, Singapore Changi dropped keeps last year position, being number 3. However it was considered the World’s Best Airport in the 2 to 5 million Passenger category, and also won the awards for the World’s Best Airport Staff, Best Airport Staff in Asia and Best Airport Dining Experience.

King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh was considered the World’s Most Improved Airport, followed by New York LaGuardia and Damman.

Paris CDG, replaced Munich Airport as the Best Airport in Europe. France’s main airport also tops the Best Airport in Western Europe category. Munich, the previous number 1, was considered the best Airport in Central Europe and the Best Airport from 10 to 15 Million Passengers.
