Domestic flights to and from Wuhan to be resumed next month
As the coronavirus pandemic seems to be under control in the country, Chinese authorities started to remove some travel restrictions. According to CNN, flights to and from the original epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak are going to be resumed on April 8.
On Tuesday, the Hubei provincial government announced that travel restrictions on Wuhan will be lifted on April 8, and residents that have been issued green health QR codes will be able to leave the city and move about
Wang Benju, the deputy head director of the Hubei Transportation, stated however that removal of the restrictions would not apply to flights between Wuhan and Beijing or international destinations.
