Looking for some new destination untouched by crowds of tourists yet well worth visiting? We’ve got a deal for you! Combine flights from Lisbon, Portugal to both Sao Tome and the smaller and even more exotic Principe from just €479!
Take a trip to Sao Tome & Principe, Africa’s second-smallest country. These two tiny volcanic islands located off the Gabonese coast easily win the hearts of foreigners with their Portuguese-Creole flavour and relaxed vibes. The laid-back tempo is enhanced by a wealth of natural attractions: miles of perfect palm-fringed beaches, emerald rainforest, volcanic peaks and fishing villages. The birdlife is excellent, and endemic plants are plentiful. In season, turtle- and whale-watching opportunities abound. This two-island nation has its cultural gems as well, with a surprising number of heritage buildings dating back to the colonial era, including impressive plantation estates. Definitely well-worth visiting!

The road that connects the capital city of São Tomé to the far north of the island has a lot of interesting stops but it’s at the same time a fantastic experience by itself. Drive trough small villages, tropical forest and old colonial plantations until you reach the sea. Then you’ll find yourself in a stunning path between the lush green and ocean blue, with plenty of places that offer a great photo opportunity. The most popular one is right before reaching the old tunnel, almost arriving in Santa Catarina ???
