Santander, the capital of the province of Cantabria isset along the northern side of the handsome Bahía de Santander. It’s a lively spot to spend a night or two, with fine urban beaches, busy shopping streets, a heaving bar and restaurant scene, plenty of surf, and some intriguing cultural attractions. It’s a popular summer holiday resort for Spaniards. There are some worthwhile attractions around Santander, all within easy reach of the city: beautiful surf-mad beaches, one of Spain’s finest wildlife parks and some of the world’s oldest prehistoric cave art.
Barcelona is a breathtaking city to visit. There’s always something to see around the neighbourhood or district: jewels of Catalan, modernisme, and contemporary architecture and treasures of the ancient Roman and medieval city. Combined with sunny weather, sandy beaches and amazing local cuisine it makes a perfect holiday destination for everyone.
