Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most visually stunning corners of Europe, renowned for its natural beauty. Kravica waterfall, situated 10 kilometres (6 miles) south of Ljubuški, is a large tufa cascade on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina. Its height is about 25 metres (80 ft). It is a popular swimming and picnic area with a place to camp. Nearby there is also a small grotto with stalactites made of calcium carbonate. The best time for visiting is spring when the fall is at its fullest.
If you like outdoor activities, you should go hiking in Sutjeska National Park, mountain Igman or Bjelasnica, parts of the Dinaric Alps. To enjoy the breathtaking scenery and pristine wilderness, head to Rama lake (Ramsko jezero), Jablanicko jezero or visit the Strbacki Buk waterfall on Una river. You can also go sunbathing in Neum, a seaside resort on the Adriatic Sea.
