Free Entrance Days in USA’s National Parks in 2021

Planning a trip to USA next year? Get to now in which days the entrance to the country’s many National Parks is free of charge and save some money exploring some of North America’s natural wonders!

Save and get free access to more than 400 parks managed by the National Park Service on the following days:

  • Monday, January 18 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Saturday, April 17 – First Day of National Park Week
  • Wednesday 4 August – One year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
  • Wednesday August 25 – National Park Service Birthday
  • Saturday September 25 – National Public Lands Day
  • Thursday, November 11 – Veterans Day

The fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite, especially one of the national parks that normally charge an entrance fee. The others are free all the time. The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.

Another option to get discounted access to National Parks in USA is to buy its Anual Pass for €66, and that”allows unlimited entrance to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including all national parks that normally charge an entrance fee”.
