Get lost among the hobbit holes and visit the Green Dragon Inn, the mill, double arched bridge and the Party Tree.

Tongariro Crossing in the Central North Island takes you through where they filmed Mordor in Lord of the Rings. Ngauruhoe volcano is famous for filling in as Mt. Doom in the trilogy.
