Travel dates:
September – October 2019

Routing:

Madrid – Lanzarote (19th September)
Lanzarote – Sal (24th September)
Sal – Tenerife North (1st October)
Tenerife North – Barcelona (6th October)
Barcelona – Berlin (8th October)

Madrid is the biggest city of Spain and one of the biggest in Europe. If you like history or football Madrid is the perfect place for you to visit. Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real or Museo Prado are just a few of numerous must-see places in Madrid. Spend couple of evenings in numerous restaurants tasting Spanish tapas and drinking famous sangria. Madrid is definitely worth visiting!

Lanzarote boasts extremely unusual vistas. Thanks to its volcanic history, most of the island has treeless landscapes with different coloured soils, craters, and weird rock formations. During six years in the 18th century, more than thirty volcanoes violently exploded, spilling huge masses of magma onto the surrounding landscape. The Timanfaya National Park is now one of the core areas of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Lanzarote.

The islands of Cape Verde boast pleasant climate during most of the year and 350 sunny days. In the brown terrain of Sal you will find deserts, dry valleys, dormant volcanoes and kilometres of sandy beaches. The island is very flat, with the highest elevation of just 403 metres (Monte Grande). This is why clouds hardly have a chance to stay above it and there is almost no rain. For many years, the island was a centre for salt mining, which is where the name Sal comes from. Pedra Lume Salt Crater is a nice place to visit. You can enter the volcano crater and float in very dense salty water of the lake inside.

The Canary Islands is a ‘must go’ for any fun-loving traveller and Tenerife is the largest and most populated island of them. It offers a variety of exciting moments for every traveller. From mountains to sandy beaches, night dives to nightlife, history, culture, festivals and fiestas… There really is something for everyone!

Barcelona is a breathtaking city to visit. There’s always something to see around the neighbourhood or district: jewels of Catalan, modernisme, and contemporary architecture and treasures of the ancient Roman and medieval city. Combined with sunny weather, sandy beaches and amazing local cuisine it makes a perfect holiday destination for everyone.
