This is a trip for true explorers! Taking advantage of two different flight combinations we’ve put together a mega exotic trip for you! Visit Bali, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Philippines in one trip from London for £892! All the routes are operated by full service airlines so bags and meals included in the full extent of this journey!
Being the most famous island in Indonesia, Bali blends spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful beaches with warm and friendly people, a vibrant culture and fantastic resorts.
Pay a visit to Tirta Gangga, a former royal palace (about 5 kilometres from Karangasem). It is noted for its water palace with eleven tiered fountains, beautiful carvings and statues adorning the gardens. You can also head west to see Pura Besakih, the largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali.
East Bali is also famous for its rice paddy terraces, lush forests, volcanoes, sweeping bays and wild black sand beaches with crashing waves. Admire the Gunung Agung, a 3142m volcano, which has a perfect conical shape. In Tulamben you can explore the amazing marine life living around the USS Liberty Shipwreck - the most famous dive site in Bali! In the east coast you can also dive in the underwater gallery at Jemeluk Bay.
Tucked away in the South Pacific, Solomon Islands are a little known, unspoilt paradise. The Solomons offer a taste of a different world – almost 1000 green islands lie scattered within a dazzling sea.
Next stop – Papua New Guinea With almost no tourism infrastructure and limited information available in books and on websites, it can feel like you’re stepping into the great unknown. But this is exactly why travellers find this country so compelling. Nothing is contrived for tourists and every experience is authentic – even the main island of Bougainville is a largely DIY travel experience. The striking natural beauty and myriad complex cultures offer some riveting and truly life-affirming experiences. The island of New Guinea, of which Papua New Guinea is the eastern part, is only one-ninth as big as Australia, yet it has just as many mammal species, and more kinds of birds and frogs!
The last country you will visit will be the Philippines! This amazing destination offers pretty much everything you need: the world class beaches, awesome conditions for water sports, stunning mountains and volcanoes, along with caves and rice terraces to explore.
Head to Legazpi, in the south of Luzon Island, to see the perfect cone of the majestic Mayon Volcano (2,463 m) and the ruins of Cagsawa Church. 460 km north from Manila, you’ll find Banaue village, surrounded by rice fields of Batad. Going up and down the rice terraces in this breath-taking scenery is a truly unique experience! The fields were introduced around 2000 years ago by the Chinese.
In Bohol island, near Cebu, you’ll see the weirdest landscapes ever! The plain is dotted with more than 1260 so-called Chocolate Hills. In the dry season, the grass-covered geological formations turn chocolate brown. On the island of Bohol there’s also a tarsier sanctuary where you can come face to face with the world's smallest primate!
