These ancient limestone structures, located in Qrendi, are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At Mnajdra, there are three prehistoric temples next to each other. Check out the Stone Age solar temple aligned with the sun on each equinox and solstice.
The Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, Gozo are considered as the oldest free standing monuments in the world, predating Stonehenge and Egyptian pyramides by hundreds of years. The site was a place of pilgrimage for the ancient inhabitants of Malta.
