Traveling on a low budget is what we all love. To keep the costs down we often choose to travel with carry on luggage only.
Its size and weight allowance restricts us to think twice before taking this unnecessary pair of shoes or the dress that we like so much but most likely will not use during the trip. Learn the seven tricks to cut down on your baggage size and never again carry with you items you don’t need!
Use a backpack
Swap your wheeled, hard suitcase for a 50 liter backpack. It will fit everything you need even for a long journey, plus you can always force it inside those terryfying, luggage measuring racks ;) Your backpack can also double as a pillow while you are resting. On the top of that, when you settle in a hotel, you can still keep using it for day trips, after unpacking unnecessary things and leaving them at the place of your accommodation.
