Go trekking through a forested area known as Little Switzerland, in the eastern region of Luxembourg. This region allows you to go climbing over rocks and walking through canyons. Take the Mullerthal Trail, with more than 112 km composed by 3 big tracks. The Schiessentümpel (Schéissendëmpel waterfall) is a popular hiking destination. The Black Ernz River cascades over a large boulder, where the water is split into three streams. The rock and wood bridge over the ravine looks like it belongs in fairy tales.
The Mullerthal Trail also passes the beautiful cavern known as Hohllay. This man-made cave near Berdorf was formed during mining for sandstone millstones in the Roman times and the Middle Ages. It's covered in cryptic looking marks. The Hohllay Cave, also known as The Hollow Cave or the Breechkaul Cave, acts as a natural amphitheatre where concerts are held.
