Thailand to resume its Test & Go quarantine-free travel for vaccinated visitors in February!

After suspending this program around a month ago, the Thai Government’s just announced its return from February 1!

According with Reuters

Thailand will resume its “Test & Go” quarantine waiver for vaccinated arrivals from Feb 1, its coronavirus task force said on Thursday (Jan 20), in response to slowing COVID-19 infections.

Bangkok Post adds that this program will be fine-tuned to be more rigorous. In this new version of Test & Go, a PCR on day 5 or 6 will be also mandatory, adding to the pre-departure and on arrival tests that were already requested until the suspension of the program, last December.

The taskforce also agreed to expand another similar quarantine waiver programme, the “Sandbox”, previously available on Phuket and Koh Samui only, to include popular eastern beach destinations Pattaya and Koh Chang.
