You can also visit the Gur Emir Mausoleum, Ulugh Beg’s Observatory and numerous madrasas (Tillya Kori Madrasah, Ulugh Beg Madrasah, Sher Dor Madrasah). In 2001, UNESCO added the city to its World Heritage List.
