Wizz Air creates new base in Milan Malpensa and launches 21 new routes!

Great news! The Hungarian low-cost carrier has just announced the creation of a new base in Milan Malpensa and the launch of 21 new routes!

The low-cost carrier Wizz Air announced today the opening of 21 new routes from its new base in Milan Malpensa Airport. Accordingly with the airline the services from Milan Malpensa to 20 different destinations in UK, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Iceland, Kosovo, Estonia, Morocco and Israel are due to start on July 3.

Most routes will start operating on July 3 (except Valencia, Porto and Tel Aviv – July 17 and Fuerteventura – start on July 31). Flight frequencies range from 2-3 a week to daily connections (Tel Aviv, London, Eindhoven, Valencia).

This is not an opportunistic movement on our part, but a long-term project. Northern Italy, which attracts a lot of business and tourist passengers, deserves it – said Jozsef Varadi.

He added that it is not true that people have written off this year’s holidays and are getting ready to rest next year.
