Wizz Air today announced it will open a new base at Sibiu International Airport in August 2016, with four new routes. What is more, the Hungarian carrier is adding Suceava to Romanian network, launching new service to London Luton.

Along with one new Airbus A320 aircraft to be based in Sibiu, Wizz Air will launch four new routes and increase weekly London Luton flights to five. Service from Suceava will connect the north Romanian city with London Luton four times a week. Seats on the new routes are already on sale. Fares start at 69 RON / €15.
Wizz Air will be introducing service on the following new routes:
Sibiu – Nuremberg – Sibiu (3 weekly)
Sibiu – Munich – Sibiu (2 weekly)
Sibiu – Memmingen – Sibiu (2 weekly)
Sibiu – Milan Bergamo – Sibiu (2 weekly)

In addition to adding flights to Suceava later this year, the airline also will establish base operations in Iasi in July, increasing low-fare travel options for Northern Romania.
