Wizz Air raises price of Wizz Flex Service
In a recent update the Hungarian low-cost carrier has raised the price of its Wizzair Flex service that allows flexible changes of reservations without any additional charge.
Compared with other airlines, Wizz Air often increases prices of additional services without any announcement. After having changed the prices of hand luggage, priority boarding or Wizz Discount Club, this time the airline increased Wizz Flex price.
Wizz Flex service allows passengers to change the date, time and flight route without additional charges up to 3 hours before scheduled flight time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and uncertainty about flights this service has become extremely popular.
As Fly4free.pl reports, Wizz Air has had a 400% increase of demand for Wizz Flex comparing with the same period in 2019. Probably due to this fact the airline decided to raise the price of the service from €10 to €12. Not a steep increase but significant enough for it not to go unnoticed.
