This Roman Catholic church is located some 200 m (650 ft.) underground, built in a tunnel deep inside a salt mine. Many of the ornamental details and carvings have been made directly into the salt mine walls - there are even statues made entirely of salt. See the cathedral's Stations of the Cross, and three naves representing the birth, life and death of Jesus.
