Lago Enriquillo

A very diverse and interesting wildlife inhabits the lake and surrounding areas. Among them, there are beautiful pink flamingos, iguanas and hundreds of bird species. It is also home to the largest population of American crocodiles living free in their natural habitat in the Caribbean. There are more than 400 species in its waters.
