The Seychelles are the oldest oceanic islands to be found anywhere on Earth. Enjoy the stunning white sand beaches, like Anse Volbert, Anse Petit Cour (La Domaine de la Reserve) and Anse Marie Louise. Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette frequently make top ten lists of best beaches worldwide. Anse La Blague is stunningly beautiful but quite remote. The beaches of the south coast are extremely shallow, and from May to October seaweed washes up on the southern shores.
You can explore the lush tropical forests covering the hills. Visit Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve or Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve. Staying on Praslin is also a good idea if you want to travel to neighbouring islands (La Digue, Curieuse, Felicite, Big Sister Island, Coco). There are various boats leaving from Cote d'Or.
