Road to Hana
While in Maui do not miss a chance to tour the road to the tiny village of Hana. The iconic, winding road is truly about the journey. During the twisting drive along the North Shore you can enjoy some of Hawaii's more untouched areas and the spectacular views of lush tropical rainforest and the sparkling ocean.
There are dozens of stops along the way, some of the best being Wai'anapanapa State Park with a lava tube, blowhole, black sand beach, and hiking trail. Swim in Wailua Falls and the Seven Sacred Pools of O'heo Gulch, take a walk in a bamboo forest, and see the Painted Forest, a group of rainbow eucalyptus trees planted just off the road.
